I’m a photojournalist looking for the truth beyond image, an untold story and an extraordinary life of a normal person.

Born in China, I came to Canada in 1999 and obtained Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. Working in several daily newspaper as a photographer and journalist before freelancing, I have covered news events such as The Beijing Olympic Games, Canada’s Head Tax redress, Toronto International Film Festival, WWII sex slave, AIDS orpha and many more.

Starting in 2009, I began my freelance career, working as PR photographer for several news agencies on business and news events. On the other side, I also work with different organizations to produce in-depth coverage for their media and promotional needs. My independent projects including Tibetan-in-exile, heart and stroke survivor story and City of Lima, etc.

I’m excellent in translating an image from a photojournalistic perspective for business and news clients. With a new era of social media and a candid approach to images, I believe my photographic talent is an appealing way to tell your stories.
